It's 100 years since our cup final at Wembley. Famous for being the 1st ever to be played at Wembley and Billy the Horse.

Cheers for that.... What a brilliant read... well done the Beeb.... this bit cracked me up... different times for sure.

And there was the odd malicious interruption too. The game was played out with the added jeopardy for players of a leg being stuck out from the crowd as they ran past.

“I saw the wing man dashing down the wing and all of a sudden there is a foot stuck out and he goes head long," remembered West Ham fan Frank Bishop. "God knows how many occasions going around that touchline it happened, but I thought to myself ‘what a farce for a cup final’. But they carried through with it.”

Talking about it on Talk Sport… reckon the crowd was estimated between 250,000 and 300,000… Kick off was only delayed for 45 mins… oh and apparently you could not see the touchlines… it was a throw in when it hit the crowd!! Apparently both of Boltons goals should not be allowed… first one was kept in play by a supporter on the touchline… and 2nd goal our defender tripped up and got caught in the crowd and could not get out… attacked down that side and scored.
